Week of Transgender Awareness 2023
I believe it is my responsibility to impart my knowledge and create awareness about the transgender community during Transgender Awareness Week 2023 Each year between November 13 – 19 in a relevant and approachable manner. Not only is awareness being raised this week, but transgender people’s lives, difficulties, and accomplishments are also being honored.
I have to explain to people all the time that being transgender entails having a gender identification that is different from the sex they were assigned at birth. It is about realizing oneself, and we are all conscious of ourselves in different ways throughout our lives.
